This is a build project that I took lead on back in 2005. This was for a Burning Man performance.
For several years we ran an event called Fire Idol at Burning Man. Each year I made fire propane trophies for the first 3 places.
This is a steampunk gun and lamp I made. It is still a work in progress.
I had this firefighter brush ax lying around and it was begging for a facelift. It was appropriately named Halloween.
Some fire poofer towers I made.
A line of floggers that I designed built and photographed. I made a custom clicker die to cut out the leather in a clicker press I built
Some costuming I designed and made over the years.
My attempt to make practical transportation less so.
A little bone sculpture my wife and I did.
Some copper patina experiments I did with muriatic acid.
Back in 2001 I took a life sculpture class. After sculpting the model out of clay, I pulled plaster molds from the clay form and used the molds to make a body out of fiberglass. All of the aluminum parts were hand cut out and the hands shown in the 3rd photo were hand carved from Aluminum.
